Minnesota’s Newest Hemp Store Is Making a Positive Impact

Minnesota Hempdropz just opened on August 11 in Maplewood and is already making a big splash in the local community. Customers have a lot of questions for the owners.

Minnesota Hempdropz is the retailer in the metro area to carry only CBD products, Twin Cities Pioneer Press reports. Schneider says the products she carries in her store contain no THC, only CBD. Marijuana and hemp are often confused as being the same thing – they are in the same plant family but are very different from each other.

Co-owner Abbie Schneider says she’s “getting a lot of questions” and is happy to answer all of them.

Tom Gallagher of Minnesota NORML said, “Hemp and even medical marijuana were legal into the 1950s.”

The Maplewood retailer offers CBD products for humans and pets. The product types available range from vaporizable and topicals to gummy candies.
