Governor Dayton opposes recreational marijuana, but pressure looming in neighboring states, Minnesota might need to take a more progressive approach.

Both Liebling and Representative John Applebaum are hopeful for 2018, according to Post Bulletin. Right now, the issues is dead in the water. However, both want the serious conversations about legalizing recreational marijuana to start. Both want debates on the issue.

These two representatives are ready for the debates and conversations to start. They want to hear public opinion and the opinions of other lawmakers. Points will be made regarding the pros and cons of legalization and both representatives hope that their fellow lawmakers will see that the benefits outweigh the negative commentary that may come through.
