PTSD Patients Can Now Purchase Medical Marijuana from Dispensaries

MN Marijuana Dispensary

August 1 has arrived, so Minnesota’s PTSD patients can now purchase medical marijuana from licensed dispensaries. Chronic pain was added last summer, which helped the state see an enrollment spike of thousands of new patients in the medical marijuana program.

Medical marijuana manufacturers still haven’t reported profits in Minnesota, according to KARE 11 News. So far, 105 PTSD patients have completed the registration process.

Patient advocates are attempting to increase the qualifying conditions list. They are pushing for autism, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease to be added.
